The University of Tuscia (Università degli Studi della Tuscia – UNITUS) is a public university founded in 1979 in Viterbo, a historic city located less than 100 km from Rome.
Teaching and research activities are organised across six departments, covering a wide range of disciplines including economics and management, engineering, agriculture and forestry, biological and environmental sciences, law, social sciences, humanities, languages and cultural heritage.
UNITUS has a strong international focus and offers several programmes taught in English, including Circular Economy, Economics and Management, Forestry and Environmental Sciences, Marine Biology and Ecology, Mechanical Engineering, Plant Biotechnology, Security and Human Rights, and others.
